Rejected petition Stop any attempts to hold a 2nd EU Referendum
We the undersigned call upon HM Government to stop any attempts to hold another EU referendum.
Just because people do not agree with the outcome the rules cannot be changed or additional referendums held until those people get the answer they want.
More details
17.4 million people voted to leave the EU
16.1 million people voted to remain in the EU
The government has been given a clear mandate by the British people that is unequivocal. This must be actioned and we leave the EU.
Democracy has spoken and all must accept this. Attempting to change the outcome by retrospectively manipulating the rules or attempting to force another referendum is an attack on democracy akin to a dictatorship, that has no place in a civilised world.
