The #Remain campaign has started a petition to hold another referendum.
This cannot be allowed. The required margin was set in advance and must be honored.
To allow this to succeed would be to allow retrospective changes to future elections should the outcome not be as desired.

We cannot allow a precedent to be set that provides for the minority, albeit a somewhat large minority, to demand a second referendum or election process should they not win.
It is un-democratic and goes against the core value of the entire process. The Remain campaign did not question the required margin up until the point they lost. If the result had been remain by the very bare minimum, they would have been more than satisfied the legal quota had been reached.
