It cannot be acceptable in 2011 that such a poor train service is allowed to operate. It just is beyond belief. Peak trains cancelled, lots running late. Poor quality rolling stock, unreliable air-con, faulty power cars, missing carriages, broken toilets, no running water... and then there is the small matter of constant overcrowding and unending price hikes. There must be someone out there that can make a better job of it than the incumbents.
