Rejected petition Hold a vote in parliament to decide if Britian should leave the EU.
The referendum should advise the vote carried out by our elected officials but not be used to decide our final course of action. The country is clearly divided, parliament needs to listen to both sides of the people, all the information and decide if leaving the EU is the best course of action.
More details
52% voted Leave, 48% voted Remain. This referendum was advisory only, not law. Government exists to ensure the best decisions are made for Britain. The people have been consulted and are divided not decided. A vote in parliament should look at all the information before and after the referendum and decide the best course of action.
