This petition was submitted during the 2015-2017 parliament
Rejected petition For the decision to be respected and no further second referendum to take place.
A referendum has already taken place and the British public has voted to remain in the EU. This decision by 52 percent of the public that voted to leave the EU should be respected. A second referendum should not be needed as the public has decided to leave the EU.
More details
52 percent of people who voted decided that it was in the best interest of the United Kingdom to leave the EU and this should be respected. It is not necessary for another referendum to take place as it would be disrespectful to those who voted to leave the EU and it would disrupt the leaving process of Article 50.
