Rejected petition HMG should facilitate negotiations with manufacturers to charge certain third world countries essential drugs (& equipment) at cost price only

Some HMG subsidies may occasionally be required for this. In other to save lives in the third world, the price of certain essential drugs (like antibiotics, antivirals) and equipment (like syringes, IV giving sets) should be made affordable to third world countries by charging them at cost price only, as the pharmaceutical and medical equipment companies concerned will not otherwise will be making the sales to the third countries concerned anyway.
