Important:

This petition was submitted during the 2015-2017 parliament

Rejected petition We call on MPs to vote against ratification of the EU referendum.

The vote carried out this week was not fully understood by many of those who voted. It became a protest vote for those in deprived areas who felt they were being ignored by politicians.
The vote was not binding and we can avoid the chaos this will create.

More details

In the 1960s parliament went against the result of a referendum on hanging.
Our MPs could do the same thing when one considers the chaos faced now by our country if we do exit the union. Furthermore every main political point that people thought they were voting for has been overturned in the light of the result. Which means it was a false vote.
