Rejected petition Anyone aged 16 and over can buy tobacco products

Ever since the law changed a few years ago making people aged 16 and 17 not able to buy tobacco products, it has annoyed many, many teenagers.
I will admit, now, there are many laws that are a bit silly, and this is definitely one of them, because 16 and 17 year old's are allowed to SMOKE cigarettes but not allowed to BUY them... so my petition is for anyone 16 and over to be able to buy cigarettes and other tobacco products
