Rejected petition Improve electoral advertising standards

The EU referendum advertising was often either completely untrue or highly offensive. Maybe we should ensure everything is properly fact checked and is not unnecessarily offensive. That thing about 350 million quid was totally untrue and leave leaders knew that. That surely can't be acceptable?
