Closed petition No death penalty

Closed on

The government should seek to pass constitutional laws that make it clear that the government can not reintroduce the death penalty, ever. To make it clear and unequivocal that the UK government has no right to condemn people to death via the courts. To spell out that to have the death penalty is to condemn innocent people to death by the failures inherent to any justice system.
