I would like the government to make NUFC owner Mike Ashley see sense and offer Joey Barton a new deal for NUFC.

Although Joey has had problems with the board of directors he has shown his dedication to the team and would be a big miss to the NUFC team.

This petition is in the public interest as the geordie nation need this man at their club.
