autonomy is in the best interest of London, the UK, and the whole EU. Global cities and sovereign states are popular names describing the means of governing influential regions. We can draw from the experiences of modern city-states like Singapore, Monaco, Vatican City, Malta, Hong Kong, and Dubai among others. This is not about concentrating power. This is about developing a higher degree of autonomy and flexibility in the making of the law concerning the region and its strategic relationships.
