Following the recent riots seen on the streets of the UK and the subsequent record increase in the prison population, we the undersigned call on the government to do more to support Christians and Christian organisations to support prisoner rehabilitation work to prevent increasing rates of prisoner re-offending and address the root causes of criminal activity.
