Rejected petition Recent Referendum SHOULD NOT be ABSOLUTE until BRITISH CITIZENS ABROAD CAN VOTE

Citizens of a "Democratic" country should not be excluded from the right to vote on matters of "National Interest" such as the recent referendum.
Democracies around the world allow this right to its citizens.
Why should the British system differ from this right?

This Referendum; SHOULD NOT be declared ABSOLUTE despite its immediate consequences such as the resignation of the PM.
British Citizens abroad DO NOT STOP BEING BRITISH CITIZENS for the fact that they are living outside a British territory.
Excluding them undermines their right to participate in a vote that will affect their nation's welfare overall. This recent referendum WAS NOT a LOCAL MP ELECTION to form a government but to decide the future of the nation regardless of who is in government
