Rejected petition The EU referendum result must be honoured. Democracy has spoken.

We have always been admired as a democratic nation. To overturn a legal democratic vote would make make us no better than a Banana Republic.

For many who voted Leave it was about not being answerable to an unelected EU, or being shackled to a failing Eurozone. It was about the ability to make our own trading deals and legal decisions without the interference of Brussels. We joined and wanted the Common Market not a Supranation.
