Rejected petition Save Scotland & NI's place in the UK & the EU. Secure a reverse-Greenland deal.
Two years ago 55% of the Scottish electorate voted to remain a part of the UK.
In the recent EU referendum, 62% of the Scottish electorate voted to remain part of the EU and 58% of the N. Irish electorate voted to remain.
More details
There is a huge democratic mandate for both of these countries to remain in both the UK and the EU and I firmly believe that this is the best option for everyone involved.
The Government should secure a "reverse-Greenland" deal to keep the UK intact whilst allowing Scotland and Northern Ireland to remain in the EU.

Why was this petition rejected?
It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.
The outcome of any negotiations with the EU would not solely be the responsibility of the UK Government. You may wish to start another petition proposing that the UK Government negotiates on the basis of trying to secure a "reverse Greenland" settlement.
We also have a petition that makes a point about how the different nations of the UK voted in the referendum, which you may wish to sign:
