Rejected petition To not trigger Article 50 without an approved alternative plan to EU membership.

Less than 50% of those eligible to vote at the recent referendum expressed the desire for the UK to leave the EU.

It is imperative that a positive vote for an alternative to EU membership is agreed by 50% of those eligible to vote prior to invoking Article 50.

Why was this petition rejected?
