Rejected petition Background Music On TV

I would like to petition the government to take action to stop the background music on tv channels.
If we are an ageing population who amongst us are people with hearing difficulties, why must we have music on programms which we like such as history wildlife documentary programs and many more where music is played to our detriment.
We can see the picture, hear the music, but are unable to hear the presenter properly.
A classic example of this is the opening of the News program where world events are being broadcast to us with what sounds like someone beating a drum.
