Closed on

Upon leaving the Armed Forces due consideration should be given by the Government & the MOD to all service personnel relating to Social Benefit Allowances, furthermore that MOD pensions should not be used to subsidize accommodation & employment needs upon leaving the Armed Forces.

1/ Community charge should be discounted by 50% for 3 years upon entry into a civilian housing / rental environment after HMF service.

2/ Housing Allowance rate change in Jan 2012 for under 35yrs should exempt members of the Armed Forces from the new rate changes.

3/ Regardless of former Armed Forces personnel having a MOD pensions they should be entitled to Job seekers Allowance in order to secure employment.
