Rejected petition Make it an offence for politicians to lie to the electorate

In the recent EU referendum politicians on both campaigns lied, undermining democracy. If pensions or insurance are mis-sold, there will be fines for sellers. If politicians mis-sell, they should be subject to a fine of 10% of gross salary & they should make an apology in their legislative chamber.
