Rejected petition Implement verification into these petitions to prevent easy abuse of the system.
At least basic user verification should be implemented to make it harder for people to abuse the system by hacking, or using "bots", or scripts to unfairly influence petitions on the petition.parliament.uk domain.
More details
By adding a simple Captcha verification button for example, people would not be able to write scripts to fill out the petitions automatically, thus making it much harder to misrepresent UK citizens.
