Rejected petition Ask David Cameron not to invoke Art 50 of the Lisbon Treaty (to leave the EU)
Parliament is sovereign and although Brexit won, Cameron is not legally obliged to invoke the Lisbon treaty to start the EU exit.
This is because parliament is sovereign and referendums are not binding in the UK.
