The British taxpayer has taken responsibility for the banks debts. It is therefore required that we take control over these institutions. No banker should be able to threaten to leave with our money if we try to regulate them.
The refinancing deal should be examined in detail to assess why such a situation was allowed that granted the banks our money without any recourse for the taxpayer.\\if this was not in the interests of the public it needs to be resolved.
