Petition reduce out of work benefits by 5% each year

unemployment benefit,single parent benefit,disability benefit (often used to get out of having to work,plus a gateway to free cars,carers allowance which often isnt essential). why cant the gvernment see how well off this sector of society is. i have always been thrifty and during a spell of unemployment found i could still save money. the incentive to work would be far higher if people were not handed money on a plate, a person i know went from disability for alcoholism (which was stopped) and immediately claimed for depression,another is having his daughter move back in with him (to save her paying rent on her flat) then says he will put in for carers allowance though not needed,why are these supposedly intelligent people so easily fooled? (politicians) save tax payers a fortune and re assess all these benefit payments.
