Airlines should be forced to include the fuel surcharges, insurance and security surcharges in the price of the ticket, not show these as a 'tax' as they are blatantly NOT a tax.
Often this item, together with Air Passenger Duty, Passenger Service Charges and other international government and airport charges can be more than the cost of the flight.
To describe fuel surcharges as a tax (which most airlines now do) is misleading and inaccurate.
