Petition scrap vat on fruit fruit and veg

More details

Instead of charging more for fast foods, which people will most likely continue to buy while sacrificing other items, i propose that VAT is scrapped on all fresh fruit and vegetables, bought and sold in the UK.

This will incentivise the public to eat healthier, save money, and increase productivy with less sick days being taken

In the long term, this will also reduce the burden on the NHS, treating preventable diseases- diabetes, obesity etc.
