The A55 is an important trunk road carrying international traffic.
For much of its length the gravel or grass shoulder is incapable of providing a safe refuge for broken down vehicles.
Please prepare a phased plan to improve the A55 and build an extra lane complete with a genuine "hard" shoulder.
