This petition calls on her majesty's government to investigate the link between violent computer games, (especially those which glorify violence and glorify criminality) and the recent looting and rioting in British towns and cities. This petition calls on her majesty's government to investigate whether the playing of such games leads to a desensitization to violence and therefore a greater likelihood to carry out violent and criminal acts in reality.
