Rejected petition Impose severe fines on politicians and parties who use false advertising

Boris Johnson used his "Battle Bus" which advertised that the UK sends £350 million to the EU every week. This has been investigated by the UK Statistics Authority who concluded this was "misleading".

There needs to be laws in place to stop such misinformation being used for political gain.
