Rejected petition Make it a criminal offence to mislead the public whilst campaigning.

The EU referendum was characterised by misleading and false statements. Despite the UK statistics authority confirming that the statement that £350 million pounds is sent to the EU every week was a lie, the campaigners continued to state it. There must be a way to force retractions.
