This petition was submitted during the 2015-2017 parliament
Rejected petition Allow UK Citizens to Vote in EU Referendums, regardless of UK Residency status.
In the recent EU Referendum, many UK Citizens, resident overseas, were unable to vote, as they had not been a UK Resident in the past 15 years. Many UK Citizens, could be adversely effected by future decisions made by the UK Government, denying them EU rights such as, Residency, health benefits etc.
