Rejected petition Corporal (school) Punishment

I would like the return of corporal punishment to be considered. Either the cane or slipper or some sort of punishment.
I think that since this was abolished, social behaviour and respect for the older people in society has gone all together.
A return could create more respect for teachers, older people and help in education.
