Rejected petition David Cameron - invoke Article 50 of the 2007 Lisbon Treaty immediately
On the 23rd June 2016, the people of Britain voted in a referendum, by a significant majority, to leave the European Union. We now call upon you, David Cameron, as the incumbent Prime Minister of Great Britain, to invoke Article 50 of the 2007 Lisbon Treaty without further delay.

The detailed negotiations of the terms of the withdrawal can be left to your successor. However, in the interests of stability, it is imperative that you now show strong leadership and remove the current uncertainty so that Britain, as a nation, can move ahead. You now have the option of being remembered as a strong leader who acted decisively in the best interests of his country or you can be remembered as a weak leader who walked away in its hour of need. The choice is yours.
