Closed petition removal of ethanol in unleaded petrol

Closed on

the introduction of ethanol as a percentage in unleaded fuel was introduced without warning to customers by fuel companies.
in the last couple of years the damage caused by this ethanol to plastic, fibreglass fuel tanks as well as rubber components on motorcycles and cars used in motorsports has been made apparrent.
the damage is now appearing on normal day to day vehicles.

we call for a suspension of the use of ethanol in unleaded fuels
or an alternative ethanol free fuel to be introduced on the market to prevent further damages to vehicles and the continuation of safe motorsport.
