Rejected petition Parents in Derby need their t.a's. Give back their money!

Derby t.a's have been forced to have their wages cut by £250 or more a month. They were told they had new terms and conditions and if they didn't turn up for work on 6th June they were dismissed. By turning up on 6th June they were automatically accepting their new terms unwillingly.

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This is the responsibility of Derby City Council.

You could raise your issue with a local councillor, who represents you. You can use this page to find out who your local councillors are, and how to contact them:

The council also has a petitions process - you can find out more about it here:

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
