I am petitioning for support for the government to ensure that Sophie Tyler's educational aspirations are met.

Regardless of any other ongoing action(s), I believe the government should ensure that this brave and inspirational young person does not have the additional burden of worry over her education.

I have no personal interest or connection with Sophie Tyler, other than seeing a news article on the BBC on 31/08/11. I am a qualified school teacher so am well aware of the pressures and anxieties facing all young people in these challenging times.
