Currently potential adopters do not have the same rights when they begin their adoption leave, the benefits are slightly less so I would like to see adopters having the same rights as individuals on maternity leave.

Currently individuals who are pregnant are given time off for any maternity related appointments which they may have. I would like to introduce fair policy where time off work for adoption classes before individuals go to panel and are matched is introduced.
