Rejected petition No notice under article 50 of the EU Treaty before the next general election.
Following the recent referendum, a motion should be put to the House that Parliament and/or HM Government should not give notice under article 50 of the EU Treaty prior to the holding of the next general election, whether at the end of the fixed term or called earlier with the support of 2/3 of MPs.
