Rejected petition Create a new Law which makes it illegal to tell lies as an elected MP

Telling lies in the Houses of Parliament , both in the Commons and the Lords is becoming all too common. Let's stop it going any further by imposing a One Year jail sentence on all perpetrators.

This new Law could be brought in at the next General Election and would become legally binding as soon as the MP or Lord is elected to each House.
