Closed Make 30th july awareness day for gastroschisis.

Gastroschisis affects 1-3000 births. After birth surgery is needed. Gastroschisis is a hole in the abdominal wall allowing the intestines(some other organs) to form on the outside off the body.

My daughter is 1 off these babies affected. She has long term complications and has been on medication since birth. Every case is different hospitals stays can be anything from 2 weeks-1year+ some dont make it. Alot of health professionals i have seen dont know about this condition themselves this is how unknown gastroschisis is.
