Rejected petition Make it illegal for supermarkets to throw away edible food.

From personal experience supermarkets throw away huge amounts of food daily and with some people barely able to feed themselves and their families in this country, this action could elieveate this problem. France has already taken this step, why shouldn't we do the same?
