We the undersigned call for all political parties to work together through a "Unity" Cabinet, calling on talent from across the political spectrum, until the UK's exit from the EU has been fully negotiated.

The precedent for this is the wartime cabinet Churchill assembled.

As we face our biggest challenge democratically, politically, economically and constitutionally for at least a generation now is not the time for party politics.

A show of solidarity between parties could help heal the wounds caused by the socially and politically divisive Brexit vote in UK society.
