Rejected petition Ensure joint EU citizenship is retained for current British EU citizens

It might be possible that the terms of a "Brexit" include losing the current joint EU citizenship of British citizens. This is highly undesirable as many people have friends and family in Europe and desire to retain the option of freely migrating to be close to them as and when the need occurs.
