Now is not the time to spend £100+ million pounds on 41 Police and Crime Commissioners.
After Government imposed front loaded budget cuts to policing and the recent riots - it makes no sense to push ahead with this expensive and costly plan - we want more police on our streets not an expensive new set of politicians telling the Police what to do!
Parliament should therefore fully debate and independently review its proposed Police Reforms.
