Rejected petition Act Immediately To Guarantee The Status Of EU Citizens Resident In The UK

We call upon Parliament to immediately legislate to give EU citizens resident in the UK Permanent Residency. We believe the stability of the country requires that the lives of our friends, neighbours, colleagues, employees and employers are not made bargaining chips in party and European politics.

We believe that fairness and the retrospective nature of the change in EU status also dictates that the usual fees and residency time requirements for Permanent Residency should be suspended for these applicants.
