Petition Re enact the 1955 canal closure act of parliament.

The Northern reaches of the Lancaster canal were cut off from the main line in 1968.To make way for the M6 motorway,the Locks were de commissioned and the canal was severed in several locations.We propose restoration by stages,to encourage New businesses ,especially tourism.

We have support from numerous boating ,restoration societies.And over 500 members of our group.OWD LANKY BOATERS.Both parish and county councils have show support also.
