Rejected petition All EU nationals living and working in the UK to be offered UK citizenship.

On the back of the EU vote, we see EU nationals fearful for their future. In the EU, people have had the right to live and work anywhere. These people should not lose out because politics change, nor should businesses that are reliant on them. They should be offered joint citizenship.

Personally, I do not think it's fair that Australians, Canadians and Indians have to apply to work in the UK, and EU nationals do not. However, every single EU national I work with is a hard working responsible person, who I am glad to call friend.
