Rejected petition Choose the next Prime Minister by General Election not the Conservative Party

The EU referendum was an expression of popular democracy. The resignation of the Prime Minister in response created a vacuum of power. In the ensuing political machinations the voice of the people has not been heard. The party process should respect the electorate and let them decide who our PM is.
