As the general public know very little about Part P, and the increasing fact that Part P has not benefitted any members except for the still trading cowboys who are not affiliated to any governing body, It needs to be addressed that the Part P system NEEDS to be changed to be in alignment with GAS SAFE making all electricians to be members of a PART P governing body. This will in turn stop unqualified "electricians" working for companies that are so called PART P registered. As dangerous electrics are as dangerous as unsafe gas installations.
