As the government wishes parents to be in employment, it must also help to provide adequate childcare. Longer hours ie 9-5 and cutting school holidays to 3 months throughout the year would also help to address the serious failings in education that we are experiencing as a nation, as well as addressing the issues of anti social behaviour that plauge many communities.
